Beverly Gillen is the founder of
Partners in Parenting Consulting LLC, author, and creator of the Top 100 College
Competencies®. Drawing wisdom from the African proverb “it takes a village to
raise a child”, Beverly uses her connections with community experts and resources
to educate and encourage parents along their parenting journey.
Beverly has a B.S. in business management from the University of
Minnesota, a parent educator license and experience as a birth and postpartum
doula. Prior to founding Partners in Parenting Consulting, Beverly spent 27
years with a Fortune 500 company as a global electronics commodity manager. She is a member of the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling and the Minnesota Council on Family Relations. She served
on the Board of Directors for MyHealth teen clinic and volunteered as a Girl
Scout leader for 15 years.
Beverly lives in Minnetonka, Minnesota with her husband, two
daughters, and Australian Retriever. Her clients appreciate her empathic
nature, playful teaching style and ability to listen and motivate positive
Whitney Frisch, Educator Certified Career and Life Coach
Frisch is an accomplished and knowledgeable educator and school administrator
with over 20 years of experience in providing quality educational
experiences for children and adults. She has a Master of Science
Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Minnesota State University and a
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of
Wisconsin. Whitney is also a Certified Career and Life
Coach specializing in individualized career planning services.
Student Advisory Board
Partners in Parenting Consulting LLC is launching a student advisory board which is designed to provide youth with leadership experience. Our students will provide valuable feedback and help us stay connected to teen culture. In return, they have the opportunity to learn about business and the world of college admissions by:
